MDRS is a professional society dedicated to the study of memory.
Members engage in basic and clinical research into how memory works and why it fails.
The society meets each autumn.
Our next meeting will be in Manchester on September 26-28, 2024.
Founded by Dr. Laird Cermak in 1988, the inaugural meeting of the Memory Disorders Research Society was held in Boston the following year. The society has met annually ever since at a venue which rotates amongst the home institutions of its members.
Meeting programs can be found on the Past Meetings page.
Nominations for new members, including self-nominations, will be solicited in the spring.
